ALL VISITORS AND PARENTS must report to the office to sign in for a school visitor pass. This is to ensure safety, provide accountability, support students, and respect learning.

For the safety and health of our students, the playground is now closed before and after school. There has been an increased number of unsupervised students on the playground at these times and the faculty and staff are not available for supervision during these hours. We ask that students leave campus immediately after school unless they are participating in a school sponsored after school event. Also, as posted on signs around campus, there is to be no riding of scooters, skateboards, hoverboards or bikes while on campus. Thank you for your cooperation.

2016 Reflection

Aloha TEAM,

While taking some time to reflect on the 2016 calendar year, several thoughts really stood out. These thoughts are all centered around our brand "our family . . our culture . . our land" and "full STEAM ahead".
our FAMILY - we are all one ohana with a common belief that we will so whatever it takes to support our students. Yes, there have been bumps/setbacks along the way, but we remain a TEAM and overcame these bumps/setbacks together.

our CULTURE - other schools are requesting campus visitations and tours to learn about the culture on our campus. It is not something that can be put into words . . it is something that you experience when you are on our campus and is something that must be taken in.

our LAND - Our 14 acres of land is being utilized to support student learning. Our beautiful gardens, productive educational learning centers, and well-maintained landscape make our campus a wonderful place to work and learn. full STEAM ahead - is keeping with the theme for this school year, we are moving forward as a TEAM and have added to our STEAM efforts with after school VEX robotics and aquaponics classes, have worked hard towards completing chapters I, II, and II in our WASC Self -Study, and have provided our students with a well-rounded curriculum.

All of you play an important role on our TEAM. Align your actions with your word and be an example for our students to follow. Everyone is here for a reason . . . to support "our family . . our culture . . . our land" as this will allow our TEAM to move "full STEAM ahead".

Happy Holidays!

Giving Thanks

Aloha Everyone,
As we officially enter the season of giving thanks...I am thankful for your continued cooperation and support. I am but a member of our TEAM...a proud member of our TEAM. I am thankful for the hard work and dedication that you put in each and every day. I am thankful for everyone stepping up to the plate to take on additional responsibilities and for our resilience in overcoming challenges that were placed in front of us.

I am thankful for other schools, who have requested tours of our campus. Other schools and even complex areas have visited our campus to learn about our "suSTEAMability" efforts...so the work that you are doing on a daily basis is being recognized by others. Our theme of "full STEAM ahead" has lead us to an exciting point in time. We begin the process of reflecting on what we are doing as a school (CNA) and where we would like to be (CNA), and how we will get there (academic plan).

I am thankful for our community partnerships and registered volunteers. We currently have 59 community partnerships and a total of 59 registered volunteers (a total of 109 volunteer opportunities). These partnerships and volunteers assist in moving us forward with our "suSTEAMability" efforts.

May you reflect on what you are thankful for, spend time with family and friends, and give more than you receive.
